Tushka's First show where we Qualify for Crufts

The long awaited 4th chapter in our tushka story is finally here.

A lot has happened in my short little life since we last spoke. I am quite a little princess. I know everyone thinks I am a little Angel but between you and I am not really. I still get up to mischief. I love stealing things and taking them to my hidding place and chewing them up so badly that no one even knows what it was originally.

I have been going to ringcraft with my pet mom to try to train her to walk around at our "Royal gatherings". My cousin Jessy is going too. We have great fun chatting to all the dogs. There are plenty of dogs to make friends with and we love to chat and bark at each other, my Pet is a little naughty and doesnt always walk correctly but shes a good pet and tries hard to do as shes told. At first I wasnt sure of what I was supposed to be doing either, especially when I am on the high table, bbbbrrrrr I dont like heights so I shut my eyes and dont look down. I got the hang of it after a while. My mom puts my tail up I dont know why she does that? if I wanted my tail up I would do it myself. We go for quick walks up and down the mates, thats fun, as long as I dont have to do it over and over again. I would rather be playing with Jessy.

I knew it was going to be a special day when we got up so early. My pet mom Julie bathed me with some stinky stuff that smelt like peaches; yuck!!!!!! I much prefer "horse manure" or "the dustbin smell" dont you? After mom had packed up the "room with wheels" we got into the room (my mom calls it a car ) and went on a long journey to a strange but exciting place mom called it "Darlington Champ Show" There were hundreds of dogs to sniff and hundreds of new things to see. Its great when my mom carries me I can see everything from up there. My mom was very nervous she could sense she needed to be on her best behaviour. We walked to a peice of square ground with a cord around it. There were lots of them. Our square was only for chihuahuas. This is so exciting I could see lots of chihuahuas in boxes and crates, everyone was talking to everyone else.

Before long the Royal gatherings were commencing. I watched as groups of chi's show their humans how to walk around the ring and look good. The humans were trying to follow but you have to be patient with them as they can be a bit slow sometimes! It was soon my turn to take mom around the ring and show her off to the other chihuahuas their. I love my mommy and she did quite well really considering it was our first time. All the other pets were a little better trained than my pet mom, I am sure with a little more practice I with have her up to scratch. The second time we were in the ring we "won a prize" we were both so excited. The prize we won was second place whichmena we qualified for the biggest and "Best Royal Gathering" on the Island "Crufts" I was so proud of my pet she did so well for her first attempt.

When we got home that evening I was telling aunty Tink and uncle Casper they were both so proud of us both as it is the first time anyone in our pack has won a chance to visit "The Cruft Gathering" That will be a whole new adventure.
